Well, “The Beast From The East & Storm Emma” have abated so at last, I can get sowing!
Just sown my rootstock tomatoes today along with some lettuce and broad beans.
I have also started off a few pots of my attempt at growing a giant potato. This is going to be difficult this year as the Kondor seed potato harvest has failed. Kondor is known to be the biggest spud going but after much research, I have found that Romo potatoes are pretty darned big and are favoured by fast food outlets – so I’m trying Ramo this year!
