Tomato Sauce Base

How to save your tomatoes as a sauce/juice ready to use in any recipe like a pasta dish, chilli dish, Indian etc etc

So simple:
Wash your toms and bin the bad ones
Bring a large pan of water to a rolling boil
Dunk your tomatoes into the boiling water for a minute
Peel the skins from the tomatoes
Blitz the tomatoes and sieve if you do not want any seeds
Refrigerate or freeze as is your need!

2.8kg (6lb) of Tumbler Toms
Boiled for a minute to loosen the skin, then peeled
Blitzed and sieved to remove the seeds
— and finally put into 500ml tubs for freezing!
