Planting OSG – Onions, Shallots & Garlic

Spent a good few hours on the plot today: tidying, weeding but most importantly getting the overwintering onions, garlic & shallots in the ground.
I put a load of spent potato compost, worm castings (my own) and some topsoil on to the beds to freshen them up. This was lightly raked over to level it off.
Apart from tickling the surface of the soil I run a “no-dig” regime – worms etc like it, and I have less to do!!
