Allotment 27 Oct

Popped in to the plot on the way home from work yesterday as it was so sunny, mainly to pick the last of the gourds for Halloween.

Nearly all gone now, corn finished – I picked the last 2 cobs but sprouts, kale and old cabbages still doing well as are the new cauliflowers.

Overwintering OSGs (Onion, Shallot, Garlic) pushing along nicely so I should have an early harvest from them.

Onion Radar poking through
Shallot Jermor – all fired! Happy!
Garlics starting to show
And the Cauliflower “Amsterdam” ready to burst through the netting. A few more cold nights and the netting will come off – no more white butterflies!!!
