I love this time of the year – reaping the rewards of my labours!
I had a craving for something, anything, made with rhubarb so I popped up to the plot this morning. I guess other allotmenteers had similar thoughts as there were 8 others there, all harvesting! Never seen so many guys there.
While I was there I picked a few rows of Red Baron onions too. Their leaves have flopped over now so there will be little, if any, growth to come.

At home I picked a pot of carrots (some for the Sunday Roast) and just generally pottered around: Planted a few beans and calabrese, watered & fed the chillis and picked yet another bowl full of Tumbler Tom tomatoes etc etc
