All week I have been planning on making space at home for more sowings, the cold frame is full!

Looked at the weather forecast and decided the Sunday would be a good day as there was no rain predicted. So on Saturday I put all the shallots into a “baker’s tray” ready to load into the car.

OMG, was it windy when I went to the plot in between showers on Sunday! But I got the Hative de Niort and Aristocrat shallots in the ground!

Then I hastily scuttled back home to warm up (and had a beer or two)
